€150m William Saliba stance

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in signing Arsenal defender William Saliba.

The France international is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in world football and his development is being closely monitored by the biggest clubs in Europe. However, Arsenal will demand a fee of at least €150 million to even consider opening talks over a transfer, as per CaughtOffside.

Saliba’s contract at Arsenal doesn’t expire until 2030, leaving them in a strong negotiating position, and an exit is unlikely to occur this summer.

Exclusive: Bruno Guimaraes verdict

Bruno Guimaraes would “walk” into Arsenal’s starting XI if he joins the club this summer, according to former Newcastle United midfielder Jermaine Jenas, but he could cost up to €140 million.

The Brazil international has been identified as a top summer target by Mikel Arteta’s side and they have been widely tipped to submit a second offer in the coming weeks after seeing their first bid worth €64m (£55m) rejected by Newcastle.

When asked how much Newcastle should demand for the 28-year-old, Jenas told FootballTransfers: “What's Tonali gone for? £100m? Put £10m or £15m on top of Tonali is all I'd say, maybe even £20m. Guimaraes for Newcastle has been absolutely sensational.

“It's a shame for Newcastle, it really is. We had all that excitement at my old club with regards to new ownership coming in, and their hands have just been tied by the looks of it in terms of what they can and can't do. But to have got rid of [Alexander] Isak, and Tonali, if Guimaraes goes on top of that - and that's without even mentioning Elliot Anderson having to leave because of the financial fair play stuff as well. It’s tough for them.

“Does he fit in at Arsenal? He walks into that team in my opinion. I think he walks into it. I think he's a massive upgrade on Zubimendi.

“Arsenal are going to be looking to definitely strengthen, and I think if Guimaraes is available, they'd be stupid to not bite his hand off. I think Manchester United might have a little look at that as well, to be honest with you, to see if they can prise him away. But Arsenal, I think he fits straight into their system.”

Morgan Rogers price tag

Arsenal will have to pay a British record fee of €152 million (£130m) in order to prise Morgan Rogers away from Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mail.

The England star is Arsenal’s primary target for this summer and they are eager to finalise a deal with Villa before the start of next season as they look to bolster their options in attack.

Aston Villa may be required to make a huge sale before signing new players under UEFA’s financial rules and that player could be Rogers, despite their despite to retain him

However, a British record fee of €152m (£130m) will be needed for Villa to open negotiations with Arsenal over Rogers.

Ezri Konsa contract talks

Aston Villa are expected to hold contract talks with Ezri Konsa amid tentative interest from Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail.

The England international has emerged as a possible summer target for the Gunners in recent weeks, and it’s reported that Villa are preparing to open contract extension discussions with the centre-back in a bid to retain his services.

The 28-year-old’s current deal at Villa runs until 2028 and the club are keen to tie him down to fresh terms once he returns from the World Cup.

Arsenal join Crysencio Summerville race

Arsenal are interested in signing West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville, as per Fichajes.

The Netherlands forward is expected to secure a move back to the Premier League following West Ham’s relegation to the Championship, and Manchester United have been widely tipped as his most likely destination.

However, Arsenal have now joined the race to sign him after agreeing to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas, and they are ready to battle Man Utd for his signature.

Kepa could leave

Kepa Arrizabalaga will be allowed to leave Arsenal after just one season at the club if his €5.9m (£5m) release clause is triggered, according to a report from The Athletic.

The Spaniard played second-fiddle to compatriot David Raya last campaign, following his arrival from Chelsea, and clubs in Serie A and La Liga are believed to be interested in a possible summer deal.
