Arteta pushing for Rogers

Mikel Arteta has made it clear that he wants Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers to be Arsenal's marquee signing this summer, TEAMtalk claims.

The manager is convinced that Rogers is the Gunners' long-term solution on the left wing, and he is determined to bring him to the Emirates, despite Villa's not-for-sale stance.

Arsenal are prepared to pay well in excess of €100 million to secure the signing of Rogers. They believe a deal is "achievable" if the right offer is presented to the Birmingham club. Rogers is keen on the move, which helps, too.

Bouaddi is a €100m player

Lille sensation Ayyoub Bouaddi is already a €100m midfielder, says former Marseille director Medhi Benatia.

Arsenal are locked in a fierce battle for the 18-year-old's signature. Chelsea, Liverpool and PSG are also looking to sign the Morocco international, who has been a target for the Gunners for months.

According to Benatia, his compatriot is a generational talent. "Bouaddi has something extra: he's a star, one of those players who only come along occasionally," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"He has incredible maturity, tactical intelligence, and personality. He looks like he's played 300 matches, but he's only a 2007-born player. He's already worth €100m; he won't come to Italy because he's too expensive."

Barcola on the market

PSG's pursuits of Yan Diomande and Maghnes Akliouche mean that Bradley Barcola is on the market, Foot Mercato reports.

If PSG manage to sign these two targets, which looks likely as both players are understood to have greenlit a move to Paris, the Ligue 1 champions will allow Barcola to depart, given that he has yet to commit to a new contract.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been credited with a strong interest in the France international, so PSG's stance will have put them on alert. Despite his availability, Barcola likely won't come cheap.

Mbemba snubs Arsenal

PSG U18s captain Emmanuel Mbemba has turned down a move to Arsenal, according to L'Equipe.

The 18-year-old centre-back has rejected the chance to sign a professional contract at PSG and will instead look for senior football elsewhere. Arsenal have been strongly linked with him in recent weeks.

However, it is now reported that Mbemba is "expected" to join AS Monaco. The teenager will sign his first pro deal in the Principality and become the latest highly rated prospect to leave PSG's academy.
