Etta Eyong wants Premier League move

Levante striker Karl Etta Eyong has his heart set on a Premier League transfer, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Cameroon forward has been on the radar of numerous English teams since the start of the season, including Arsenal, who previously explored a deal. Etta Eyong now wants to move to England after turning down a big-money transfer to CSKA Moscow earlier this year.

Levante are said to be demanding north of €30 million for the 22-year-old. Etta Eyong started the season like a house on fire, but his last LaLiga goal came in October. Levante managed to stay in the division despite his indifferent form, strengthening their negotiating position.

Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga has agreed personal terms with Arsenal, Nicolo Schira states.

The 16-year-old is poised to depart the Foxes following their relegation to League One. Monga has turned down a professional contract, and he gave the nod to Arsenal over his other suitors last week.

The Gunners have now agreed contract terms with Monga, but discussions remain ongoing with Leicester. Due to his age, a potentially sizeable compensation fee will be necessary. If the two clubs can't agree on a figure, it will have to be determined by a tribunal.

Trossard talks

Arsenal are in talks with Besiktas over a deal for Leandro Trossard, Sporx claims.

The Turkish giants have been keen on a deal for the Belgium international since at least last year, when they failed to reach an agreement to sign him. Arsenal rewarded Trossard with a pay rise last summer to convince him to stay.

With the Premier League champions keen to further strengthen their side with big signings, some sales will be necessary. Consequently, the prospect of cashing in on Trossard is now being actively considered.

Real Madrid enter Alvarez race

Real Madrid have made "enquiries" for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, as per Sky Germany.

The Argentine is a key target for Arsenal, but reports in Spain have repeatedly claimed that he wants to stay in LaLiga. Barcelona have seen a bid rebuffed by Atleti, and the strained relationship between the two clubs means that a deal is currently considered unlikely.

Could Real Madrid now exploit the situation? It would be a highly controversial move, but re-elected president Florentino Perez has promised to make a €150m bid for an unnamed player tomorrow. That is exactly the amount of money Atleti are demanding for Alvarez.
