Chelsea would turn down world-record bid for Pedro

Chelsea have no intention of selling Joao Pedro to Barcelona this summer, with the Blues even willing to turn down a world-record bid for the 24-year-old, according to talkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs.

Widespread reports in Spain have indicated La Liga champions Barcelona have earmarked Pedro as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who will leave the club at the end of the season.

However, according to Jacobs, Chelsea would not even accept a fee which surpassed Neymar’s €222million (£200m) world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, such is their desire to keep hold of the striker.

Blues told Arsenal have been ‘put off’ Rogers’ price tag

Chelsea have received a boost in their reported pursuit of Morgan Rogers after learning Arsenal have been put off Morgan Rogers’ asking price, according to transfers guru Jacobs.

Despite playing a significant role in helping Villa win the Europa League this season, The Telegraph understands Rogers is “the star player most expected to leave” as the club look to comply with financial regulations this summer.

The Telegraph claims Villa would want around €92million (£80m) to part ways with Rogers - a price which, according to Jacobs, Premier League champions Arsenal are not willing to pay.

Crystal Palace’s Lacroix ‘expected’ to leave this summer

Maxence Lacroix is “expected” to leave Crystal Palace this summer with several leading clubs in England interested in his signature, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins.

The France international joined the Eagles from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in 2024 and has become a key fixture under manager Oliver Glasner, making 97 appearances and helping the club win the FA Cup last season.

However, Hawkins understands Lacroix - who is reportedly valued at more than €40m (£34.5m) - is set to seek pastures new following Palace’s clash with Rayo Vallecano in the UEFA Conference League final next Wednesday.

Delap could be forced to consider Chelsea future under Alonso

Liam Delap may be forced to consider his Chelsea future if incoming manager Xabi Alonso gets his wish and signs a new striker this summer, according to GiveMeSport.

Delap has endured a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge, scoring just two goals in 40 appearances following his €35m (£30m) move from Ipswich Town last summer.

And now according to GiveMeSport, the 23-year-old could have a decision to make if Spaniard Alonso, who officially takes charge of Chelsea on 1 July, brings in a new forward ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Chelsea-linked Bowen delivers West Ham bombshell

Captain Jarrod Bowen insists he has no intention of leaving West Ham United this summer, despite the club suffering relegation to the Championship on Sunday.

The Hammers' 3-0 home win over Leeds United on the final day of the Premier League season was not enough to prevent them from dropping into the second tier for the first time since 2011, as Tottenham Hotspur beat Everton 1-0 on the same day to pip Nuno Espirito Santo's men to 17th place and subsequent survival.

However, while West Ham are now expected to sell their most prized assets in order to cope without the Premier League's riches next season, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool-linked Bowen is adamant he wants to remain at the club beyond the summer transfer window.

Speaking to the media after the game against Leeds, he said: “I’m under contract here. I’ve been here for six-and-a-half years. I’ve had some really high moments and this is a low moment that will outweigh everything.

“There’s going to be rumours, there’s going to be talk. Ultimately, what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League because that is where it deserves to be. This is a really, really low moment, but we have to bounce back because there’s no other way. This is a really difficult moment. You never know what the future holds. For me, I want to get this club back in the Premier League. Right now our vision is to do that.”
