The Gunners had the biggest net spend of any English club last summer, with the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze and Martin Zubimendi all joining Mikel Arteta’s side, but they are once again set to dip into the market ahead of next season.

Arsenal have the chance to win the Premier League and Champions League double this term, and they are expected to back Arteta with additional signings when the 2026 summer window opens.

As previously reported by FootballTransfers, Arsenal are keen to sign a new full-back, a new central midfielder and a new forward this summer, with Newcastle United trio Valentino Livramento, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon identified as three key targets by the Emirates Stadium hierarchy.

A number of alternative options have also been sounded out and Sky Sports have now confirmed that Kvaratskhelia is on Arsenal’s wishlist as they look to sign a new left winger before the start of the 2026-27 season.

The Georgia international still has three years remaining on his current contract at PSG and he has the chance to win back-to-back Champions League trophies after helping the Parisians reach the showpiece final on Wednesday.

Kvaratskhelia has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 15 Champions League appearances this season, and he is firmly on Arsenal’s radar ahead of this summer, alongside the aforementioned Gordon and Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez.

However, a deal remains complicated as PSG will likely have no intention of sanctioning a sale.

Steven Gerrard heaps praise on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Kvaratskhelia was once again a standout performer during PSG’s 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night and he produced a fabulous assist for Ousmane Dembele’s opening goal in the third minute.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, the aforementioned Gerrard was effervescent in his praise of the Georgian. “[He’s] just so powerful, so dangerous, can go both ways,” the Liverpool legend said.

“But it’s also the other side of the game. A lot of wingers, they only want to do the side of the game when they’ve got the ball at their feet. They want to do the exciting things, they want to create and score. This guy does the lot.

“He works hard, he tackles, he fights, he can create, he can score. He’s the best winger in the world right now. There’s no one better than him.”
