The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a Bernabeu exit over the past few weeks, with rumours in the Spanish press suggesting that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to listen to offers for the France midfielder.

Camavinga arrived at Los Blancos as one of the most highly-rated youngsters in world football and despite a promising spell in the Spanish capital, he is arguably yet to live up to the potential he displayed during his time at Stade Rennais.

The Frenchman has only started 18 matches across the Champions League and La Liga so far this season, and widespread reports have hinted that an exit is on the cards this summer, with Real Madrid eager to sign Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez as his replacement.

However, Camavinga himself doesn’t want to leave the Bernabeu. That is according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who posted on X: “Eduardo Camavinga currently has no intention of leaving Real Madrid.

“There have been no talks with other clubs and no signs of dissatisfaction. 23 y/o Camavinga wants to stay at Real for as long as possible. His contract runs until 2029.”

Verdict: Man Utd unlikely to sign Eduardo Camavinga

Camavinga has been linked with a move to Man Utd and Chelsea in recent months, however a Premier League switch is unlikely to take place if he expresses no desire to leave Real Madrid.

As a result, both English giants will be required to pursue alternative midfield targets during the 2026 summer transfer window.

It’s understood that Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with Strasbourg starlet Valentin Barco ahead of a summer move, while Man Utd have identified Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson as their primary target to replace Casemiro.

However, Manchester City are also interested in signing the England international and are widely considered to be the current frontrunners for his signature this summer.
