The Premier League has established itself as the best division in world football over the past decade and clubs in England boast financial power that is unmatched across Europe’s other biggest leagues.

As a result, the best teams in England are frequently able to sign the best players in the world, most of whom unsurprisingly have extremely high Estimated Transfer Values (ETV).

ETV is a market-leading transfer valuation algorithm designed and developed by Dutch data company SciSports, in partnership with FootballTransfers.

A player’s ETV is calculated by a variety of factors, namely: player age, player position, player performance, player experience, league strength and contract situation.

Below, FootballTransfers runs through the top 25 most valuable players in the Premier League.

Who are the most valuable players in the Premier League?

25. Tijjani Reijnders (Man City) - €74.7m

Tijjani Reijnders joined Manchester City for a fee of €55m this summer and his ETV has already risen well beyond that figure after an impressive start to life in England.

The Netherlands star is already among the most valuable midfielders in the Premier League, although he is no longer a guaranteed starter at the Etihad Stadium.

24. Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal) - €75.1m

Arsenal beat Manchester United to the signing of Viktor Gyokeres, although the Sweden superstar hasn’t been able to replicate his Sporting CP goalscoring form in north London.

Despite this, his ETV of €75.1 remains among the highest of any Premier League player.

23. Nick Woltemade (Newcastle) - €76m

Newcastle United’s marquee summer signing had an ETV of just €5.6m back in December 2024, but this figure has risen to a whopping €76m thanks to his form over the past year.

The goals have dried up for Nick Woltemade in 2026, however his ETV is still the second-highest of any Newcastle player.

22. Phil Foden (Man City) - €76.5m

Phil Foden struggled during the 2024-25 campaign, but he has bounced back this term and he is once again a key player for Pep Guardiola’s Man City team.

Despite this, his current €76.5m ETV is still a far cry from his career peak of €138.6m in September 2022.

21. Martin Odegaard (Arsenal) - €76.9m

Martin Odegaard’s season has been hampered by injury problems and recent rumours have linked him with a surprise Arsenal exit in 2026.

As a result of his dip in form, the Norwegian’s ETV has slowly fallen from a career high of €134.5m in March 2025 to €76.9m.

20. Omar Marmoush (Man City) - €78.5m

Omar Marmoush was a revelation during his first six months at Man City, but a knee injury disrupted his start to the 2025-26 season and he has struggled to nail down a consistent starting XI ever since.

However, his ETV still stands at €78.5m - which is slightly higher than the €75m fee Guardiola’s side paid to sign him in January 2025.

19. Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) - €78.7m

Dominik Szoboszlai has been one of the best players in world football this season and his ETV stands at €78.7m at current.

The Hungary international has been an integral player for Liverpool this year and his value is likely to increase further if his immense form continues.

18. Xavi Simons (Tottenham) - €79.9m

Xavi Simons has struggled since his move from RB Leipzig to Tottenham last summer, however his ETV remains close to the €80m mark, largely due to his most recent transfer fee.

In addition, the Dutchman remains one of the most talented attacking midfielders in world football, despite his dip in form this term.

17. Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) - €80m

Cody Gakpo has been a key player for Liverpool ever since his arrival from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and he has maintained his place as a regular starter this term following the sale of Luis Diaz.

The Netherlands winger isn’t quite adored by Liverpool fans, but his ETV stands at a whopping €80m.

16. Josko Gvardiol (Man City) - €80.2m

Josko Gvardiol remains the most expensive centre-back in football history, thanks to his €95m move from RB Leipzig to Man City in 2023.

His current ETV of €80.2m is slightly below that figure, although he is still one of the most valuable defenders in the world.

15. Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle) - €80.8m

Bruno Guimaraes has been one of the best signings in Newcastle’s history and he continues to be linked with a move away due to his excellent form at St James’ Park.

With an ETV of just over €80m, Guimaraes is among the very best in the Premier League.

14. Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) - €82.3m

Chelsea paid €121m to sign Enzo Fernandez in January 2023, following his exploits at the Qatar World Cup for Argentina, and his ETV is yet to reach that figure, despite his immense form at Stamford Bridge.

Fernandez is still one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and he is the 14th most valuable player in the division thanks to an €82.3m ETV.

13. William Saliba (Arsenal) - €89.1m

William Saliba is widely considered to be one of the best central defenders in world football and it’s therefore no surprise that he is among the most valuable players in England.

The Arsenal defender has an ETV of €89.1m, although it would likely take a far higher fee to tempt the Gunners into a sale.

12. Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool) - €89.2m

Hugo Ekitike has been a fantastic signing for Liverpool and he has cemented himself as the club’s first choice striker in Alexander Isak’s absence through injury.

The Frenchman is already a fan’s favourite at Anfield and his ETV of €89.2m is testament to the incredible start he has made with the Reds.

11. Rodri (Man City) - €90.8m

Man City midfielder Rodri won the 2024 Ballon d’Or and while he has struggled with injury problems since winning the biggest individual award in football, he remains a top operator.

As a result, it’s no surprise that his ETV of €90.8m remains among the highest of any player in the Premier League.

10. Estevao (Chelsea) - €92.1m

Estevao has sparkled since arriving at Chelsea last summer and the Brazilian is likely to cement his place as one of the best players in the world over the coming years.

His potential is immense and this is a key reason why his ETV already stands at a whopping €92.1m at just 18 years old.

9. Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool) - €94.8m

Ryan Gravenberch is the ninth-most valuable Premier League player after establishing himself as an integral player for Liverpool over the past 18 months.

The Dutchman struggled to nail down a starting berth during his debut season at Anfield, however he has developed into one of the best midfielders in world football since the appointment of Arne Slot.

8. Cole Palmer (Chelsea) - €96.7m

Cole Palmer remains one of the most talented players in the Premier League, although his ETV has dropped below the €100m mark due to his ongoing injury woes.

He has returned to fitness, and form in recent weeks, but Palmer isn’t quite at his very best and his ETV of €96.7m is likely to rise if he is able to return to his previous levels.

7. Declan Rice (Arsenal) - €101.3m

Declan Rice is among the favourites to win the Ballon d’Or this season after a stellar campaign for Arsenal and it’s therefore no surprise his ETV is among the highest of any Premier League player.

However, his value has dipped from a career peak of €121.1m last January.

6. Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) - €103.5m

Bukayo Saka recently signed a contract extension at Arsenal and his ETV of €103.5m could well increase further over the coming months as a result.

The England winger is considered to be one of the best players in the Premier League and it’s therefore no surprise he is well inside the top 10 of this list.

5. Moises Caicedo (Chelsea) - €112.2m

Moises Caicedo is one of the best midfielders in world football and he has solidified his place among the biggest superstars in the Premier League over the past 12 months.

His ETV now stands at €112.2m and while this is just shy of the €116m Chelsea paid to sign him in 2023, the Ecuadorian has been an excellent signing for the Blues.

4. Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) - €115.3m

Florian Wirtz has been a slightly underwhelming signing for Liverpool, although his form has improved significantly since Christmas.

The Germany international hasn’t quite been able to establish himself as one of the best players in the Premier League during his debut season, however his ETV of €115.3m is the fourth-highest in the division.

3. Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool) - €118m

Alexis Mac Allister may be a surprise inclusion in third place, but the Liverpool midfielder has been an integral player for the Reds since his move from Brighton and he remains a consistent starter under Arne Slot.

His ETV of €118m is likely to steadily decline if he doesn’t sign a contract extension soon, however. His current deal is scheduled to expire in 2028.

2. Alexander Isak (Liverpool) - €124.1m

Alexander Isak has barely played for Liverpool due to injury problems, however he remains the second-most valuable Premier League star.

His ETV of €124.1m is partly due to his goalscoring exploits for Newcastle last term and the fact Liverpool paid €145m to sign him last summer.

1. Erling Haaland (Man City) - €145.5m

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the most valuable player in the Premier League is Man City superstar Erling Haaland.

He has scored over 150 goals for Man City, in less than 200 games, and his ETV of €145.5m is boosted by the fact his current contract at the Etihad Stadium runs until 2034 after he signed a lucrative extension last year.
