Man Utd Transfer News Today: Premier League clubs' stars targeted
All the latest Manchester United transfer news in one place, including updates on Cole Palmer, Casemiro, and Sandro Tonali.
Man Utd to take advantage of Cole Palmer’s Chelsea disappointment
Cole Palmer is reportedly ‘disillusioned’ at Chelsea over his role in Liam Rosenior’s system, and that could lead the England international to chase an exit this summer, according to The Sun.
Man Utd are monitoring his situation with a view to bringing Palmer back to his hometown.
Palmer has dealt with various injuries that have led to a decline in production compared to past seasons.
Casemiro to join Messi at Inter Miami
Inter Miami are intent on adding Casemiro to their ranks of former La Liga stars, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The current Man Utd and former Real Madrid defensive midfielder would join Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Rodrigo de Paul, and Sergio Reguilon at the club, which is currently third in the MLS Eastern Conference on goal difference.
Man Utd to hijack Arsenal deal for Sandro Tonali
The Red Devils’ desire for Premier League-proven talent in the middle of the park has long been reported.
The club is reportedly holding talks with Sandro Tonali’s agents via an intermediary with the goal of beating Arsenal to a deal for the midfielder, according to Man Utd insider Sully Talkz.
Tonali could help the club replace the production of Bruno Fernandes if the Portuguese playmaker leaves over the summer.
The Italian has two Premier League assists compared to Fernandes’ 16, but Tonali also creates over one chance per 90 minutes and strikes a balance between controlling possession and playing teammates into dangerous areas.
Man Utd chase Benfica star
Benfica’s Norwegian left-winger Andreas Schjelderup is on Man Utd’s radar for this summer, according to Fichajes.
Left wing is said to be a priority for the club, and Schjelderup’s chance creation and ability to keep the ball in dangerous areas make him an attractive option.
Man Utd will have to fend off Barcelona in order to secure a deal.
The nine-time Norway senior international has four goals and three assists in 21 Liga Portugal matches, as well as. three goals and one assist in the Champions League.
