Chelsea sent 'clear message' over Endrick transfer
Real Madrid have informed Chelsea that Endrick is not for sale this summer amid rumoured interest from Liam Rosenior’s side.
The Brazil international has enjoyed a stellar start to life at Olympique Lyonnais following his arrival on a short-term loan deal in January, and speculation surrounding his future has intensified as a result.
Endrick has scored five goals and provided one assist in just six matches for Lyon and his sensational form has alerted the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that Real Madrid have delivered a “clear and definitive message” that Endrick will return to the Bernabeu this summer and be integrated into the club’s first-team squad next season.
The 19-year-old only made three appearances for Los Blancos during the first half of this campaign, but he is set to be handed a more prominent role in 2026-27. As a result, a move to the Premier League will not take place this summer, despite rumoured interest from a number of elite English top flight clubs, including Chelsea.
Endrick transfer message
Meanwhile, Endrick’s agent, Thiago Freitas, has also confirmed that his client will return to Real Madrid in July, although he has refused to rule out a potential transfer before the start of next season.
Speaking to Win Win (via Managing Madrid), Freitas admitted: “Endrick was loaned to Lyon for six months. The decision is already made and Endrick will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season. There is no ambiguity or secret about it.
“The deal is only a loan, with no purchase option, therefore Endrick will return. What will happen next season? I can’t predict it, but I can tell you that at the end of this season Endrick will once again be a Real Madrid player.”
He added: “Endrick only played a few minutes with Real Madrid because when he arrived at the club, and if you look at the attackers there, you’ll find that eight of the ten best players in the world are at Real Madrid: Vinicius Junior, winner of The Best FIFA award; [Kylian] Mbappe, a huge and exceptional player; Jude Bellingham, a great player capable of winning the Ballon d’Or; and Rodrygo, a footballer who decides many important Champions League matches.
“It’s completely normal for an 18-year-old player to arrive at a club like this and have [a] few minutes.”
