The Argentina international has been linked with a Chelsea exit ever since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in January 2023 and Bayern are the latest high-profile European club to express their interest in his signature, as per Fichajes.

The Spanish publication even report that Bayern are preparing a blockbuster bid worth €120m as they look to finalise a shock deal for the 24-year-old.

The Bundesliga giants view Fernandez as the perfect player to bolster the first-team squad available to Kompany and they are eager to rival Real Madrid for his signature, with Los Blancos reportedly identifying him as the perfect signing for Xabi Alonso.

Enzo Fernandez to Bayern Munich?

Fichajes claim that Bayern are “determined” to initiate negotiations with Chelsea over a deal for the midfielder, although Enzo Maresca’s side have no intention of sanctioning a sale.

Fernandez, who has already racked up 137 appearances for the west London outfit, still has over six-and-a-half years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge and he remains a vital player for the reigning Club World Cup winners.

He has played the entire 90 minutes in 12 of Chelsea’s 15 Premier League fixtures so far this season and no player in the Blues squad has registered more goal contributions since the beginning of 2025 than the Argentine (22).

As a result, Chelsea are reluctant to offload him, although Fernandez’s decision to change agents has caused speculation that he could be looking to leave Stamford Bridge next year.
