Chelsea are plotting a damaging raid on Portuguese giants Porto for young talents Victor Froholdt and Samu Aghehowa, according to TEAMtalk.

19-year-old midfielder Froholdt has an €85 million release clause, but he could be available in January for around €50m-€60m.

21-year-old striker Aghehowa, on the other hand, can only be signed in the winter by triggering his €100m release clause. Chelsea were previously close to signing him in the summer of 2024.

Out-of-favour Man Utd striker Joshua Zirkzee has greenlit a January move to Serie A leaders AS Roma, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Netherlands international wants to play regularly in a bid to keep his hopes of making Oranje's 2026 World Cup squad alive.

Man Utd's stance on Zirkzee's exit remains unclear, but the player is keen to join Roma on a loan deal that will become permanent if they qualify for the Champions League.

Man City are stepping up their pursuit of Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo as they seek to ease their over-reliance on Erling Haaland, according to TEAMtalk.

The 25-year-old is expected to field offers from various suitors in the winter window due to having a €74m release clause. This clause, however, can only be triggered early in the window to give the Cherries a chance to bring in a replacement.

Semenyo's clause will become cheaper in the summer, but clubs like Man City and Liverpool may be desperate enough to pursue a mid-season transfer.

In addition to Chelsea, Milan rivals Inter and Juventus are also keen on signing the France international on a Bosman deal.
