The Guinea international has established himself as one of the best centre forwards in world football over the past few seasons and he has emerged as a key transfer target for a number of elite clubs in Europe, despite his age.

Guirassy is set to turn 30 years old in March, however he could be set to leave Borussia Dortmund during the upcoming January transfer window.

That is according to CaughtOffside, who claim that Arsenal, Man Utd and PSG are all interested in signing the former Stuttgart striker in 2026.

Guirassy’s current contract at Dortmund, which is due to expire in two-and-a-half years, includes a €50 million release clause, although it is reportedly only valid for an unspecified selection of top clubs.

The 29-year-old has scored 45 goals in 65 games since his arrival at Borussia Dortmund last summer, including 13 in the 2024-25 Champions League campaign, and his “clinical style and experience” has attracted the attention of the Arsenal recruitment team, as per CaughtOffside.

Serhou Guirassy to Arsenal?

Arsenal bolstered their forward roster with the addition of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP this summer, although he has largely struggled in the Premier League and Mikel Arteta’s side have subsequently been linked with a number of new strikers.

It’s understood that Levante star Karl Etta Eyong is on the Gunners’ radar, and they have now earmarked Guirassy as a possible new signing amid his immense form for Dortmund.

Arsenal’s interest in the Guinea striker comes following rumours that Gabriel Jesus could be sold during the upcoming January transfer window.

The Brazil forward has been sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury since January and while Arteta has confirmed his desire to retain Jesus at the Emirates Stadium, reports suggest that an exit is on the cards amid interest from Palmeiras and Flamengo.
