Jorgensen to leave Chelsea

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano revealed that Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is looking to leave in January.

"Filip Jorgensen, together with his agents, is considering to leave Chelsea already in the January transfer window. Jorgensen respects Chelsea's strategy, respects also what Enzo Maresca and his staff are deciding, but at the same time, while he's a very good professional, a very serious boy and not just a very good goalkeeper, Jorgensen wants to play.

"Jorgensen believes that this is an opportunity for him to go find the right chance, to go and play. He wants to play, he needs to play. There is a World Cup incoming.

"Obviously, Denmark will have to fight for their spot, but Jorgensen believes that playing on a regular basis is something too important for his career for club and country."

Liverpool fully in Semenyo race

Next up, Romano corroborated that Liverpool are fully in the mix to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.

"When Semenyo signed the new contract at Bournemouth, a release clause was included in the agreement. The details of the release clause, from what I'm told, are the following: The clause is going to be valid in January, also in the summer transfer window.

"The value is different. For the January transfer window, the value is £60 million plus £5m in add-ons, so a total of £65m. For the summer transfer window, it is slightly above £50m. Bournemouth hope to keep the player.

"Bournemouth, if they could decide, they would love to keep Semenyo until the end of the season and then eventually sell him in the summer. But if a club arrives and triggers the clause, or maybe a club arrives and tries to negotiate with Bournemouth around the value of the clause, well, that can be different.

"And in that case, Bournemouth will have to let the player go in the January transfer window. Keep an eye on Semenyo because there is a lot of interest. He was on the list of Man Utd last summer. Tottenham also called for Semenyo last summer. So these two clubs have been following the players for a long time.

"But don't forget about Liverpool because also Liverpool are interested and keen on a potential deal for Semenyo. From what I'm hearing, Liverpool are considering this possibility. They are following the player. They have a very good relationship with Bournemouth, so let's see what's going to happen in the next months."

Konate decision still pending

Romano then addressed the contract situation of Ibrahima Konate at Liverpool, revealing that the player has still not made a final decision.

"There is a negotiation still ongoing between Liverpool and Ibrahima Konate. Konate has to decide what he wants to do. He has several opportunities around Europe.

"Real Madrid, for sure, and not only. But Konate now has to decide because there is a negotiation ongoing with Liverpool. Liverpool made their proposal to Konate, and now it's Konate who has to decide, 'Okay, I want to stay and sign this new contract' or 'No, I want to leave and try a new chapter.'

"So Liverpool are waiting for an answer from Konate. Now it depends on Konate, on what Konate wants to do - this can be financial, this can be personal, if he wants to try a new chapter or not. So there are several factors to consider. But Liverpool made their move."

Man Utd not in for Adeyemi

Lastly, Romano dismissed suggestions that Man Utd are actively looking to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.

"My information is that at this moment, Man Utd are not negotiating for Karim Adeyemi. Man Utd have not made any approach on the player or the club side. So at the moment, nothing really concrete or serious to it.

"Man Utd are looking at that kind of player, a player who can play as a winger, as a No.10, let's say behind the striker and be electric, be skilful, be talented, be fast, as Adeyemi is very fast. For sure, Man Utd are following several players with those skills, and Adeyemi is one of the best in Europe when it comes to this.

"But as of today, if you ask me, are Man Utd negotiating with the agents of Adeyemi? Are Man Utd negotiating with Borussia Dortmund for a transfer? From what I'm told, at this stage of the year, Man Utd have not started a concrete negotiation, a concrete discussion for Adeyemi.

"Borussia Dortmund are just waiting to see what's going to happen in 2026. There was a lot of interest one year ago from Napoli, from English clubs, and Adeyemi decided to stay. He was feeling very comfortable at Dortmund.

"Now, he will have to decide what he wants to do next for his career. Meanwhile, Adeyemi changed agents again a few months ago. He's now with Jorge Mendes, one of the most powerful agents in the world. So for sure, Adeyemi is assessing opportunities for his future."
