Arsenal Transfer News Today: €100m Kenan Yildiz move as agreement reached
All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Kenan Yildiz, Ezri Konsa and Ben White.
Arsenal want Yildiz again
Arsenal could yet make a move for Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz this summer, TuttoSport claims.
On Tuesday, The Athletic confirmed that the Turkey international was still on Arsenal's shortlist of potential forward targets, with the Gunners having long been linked with the young superstar.
It is now asserted that Arsenal could look to pay as much as €100 million for Yildiz this summer. However, despite Juventus' growing exasperation over their inability to raise funds via sales, they are not yet desperate enough to consider offers for their untouchable No.10.
Konsa agreement
Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, The Athletic reports.
The Gunners are on the verge of securing their top defensive target. Signing a new defender was one of Mikel Arteta's main priorities amid the injury struggles of William Saliba and Jurrien Timber.
Konsa was at the top of his wishlist as he is capable of playing centrally and on the right. Arsenal will pay around €60m for the 28-year-old England star, with a medical scheduled for Thursday.
White transfer stance
Despite the imminent arrival of Konsa, Arsenal will look to keep Ben White, TEAMtalk writes.
The versatile defender was facing an uncertain future heading into the summer window, but despite latent interest from Everton, a departure has not been particularly concrete at any point this summer.
The signing of Konsa will leave Arsenal with a crowded defensive department, and he is capable of playing in the same positions as White, but the Gunners do not want to lose the 28-year-old.
Double Man Utd raid
Arsenal are looking to snap up two academy prospects from Man Utd, as per The Telegraph.
Having lost Ayden Heaven and Chido Obi to the Red Devils in recent years, the Gunners are looking to get payback by signing winger James Scanlon and defender Habeeb Ogunneye.
However, while Heaven and Obi have already made their first-team debuts for Man Utd, Arsenal's proposed signings are unlikely to have a similar impact. Scanlon is a 19-year-old Gibraltar international, while 20-year-old Ogunneye is eligible for England and Nigeria.
