Jadon Sancho has officially rejected a move to Besiktas, dealing a fresh blow to Manchester United.

The Red Devils are desperate to offload their unwanted players as they need to raise funds for further incomings. North of €230 million has been spent, but not a single 'Bomb Squad' member has been sold for a fee so far.

Marcus Rashford's hefty wages have been freed up due to his move to Barcelona, but the likes of Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho remain on the books at Man Utd.

Sancho has fielded the most widespread interest, with clubs from Italy, Germany and Turkey exploring a move. Besiktas were the latest suitors to express an interest, and their fans tried to play their part by leaving a mind-boggling five million comments on the winger's latest Instagram post.

However, Sky Germany now reports that Sancho has officially rejected the Istanbul outfit as he does not want to play in Turkey at this stage of his career. Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are mentioned as still being interested, but the latter have not followed up on their initial talks.

Man Utd face race against time

Man Utd are also struggling to offload their other unwanted players. There have been talks with Chelsea over Garnacho, but the two clubs remain quite a ways apart in their valuation of the Argentine.

Man Utd reportedly want north of €50 million for Garnacho, while Chelsea are looking to strike a deal for a fee below €40m. The 21-year-old only wants the Blues and is even willing to rot in the stands at Old Trafford until January or next summer should no deal be struck this year.

It is a similar story with Antony. The Brazilian has his heart set on a return to Real Betis after his revitalising loan spell last term, but Sky Sports reports that the Spanish side are 'still finding it difficult' to do a deal for the 25-year-old.

Although his agent has suggested that a Saudi move could become a possibility, this would only be a last resort as the player is desperate to head back to Seville. "Time is running out for him to find another club," the report adds.
