Man Utd Transfer News Today: Mbeumo PRIORITY as three-way battle develops

All the latest Man Utd transfer news in one place, including updates on Bryan Mbeumo, Jadon Sancho and Rasmus Hojlund.
Mbeumo desperate to join Man Utd

Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo is prioritising talks with Man Utd, according to Fabrizio Romano. "The player has said ‘yes’ to Man Utd and is giving priority to them despite interest from Arsenal and Newcastle, who are offering Champions League football," Romano said.
"He’s really tempted. It depends on club-to-club negotiations. Brentford see him priced similarly to Matheus Cunha, something like £60-65m. We have to see how the negotiations will go. We know how tough it is to negotiate with Brentford. For sure, Man Utd want Mbeumo.”
Mbeumo is reportedly demanding a sizeable £250,000 wage to join Man Utd. The Red Devils feel they are in a position to grant him his wish, despite the need to raise funds via sales.
Aston Villa want Sancho

Aston Villa are interested in Man Utd outcast Jadon Sancho as they look for a replacement for Marcus Rashford. Both players are set to return to the Red Devils after loans away from the club.
However, neither is expected to be permitted to stay. In the case of Sancho, Villa hold an interest but have yet to make any advances. It is also claimed that Napoli and AC Milan are exploring a potential transfer.
Sancho was sent back to Man Utd by Chelsea earlier this week after failing to agree terms with him. A permanent contract was not pre-agreed last summer, so the two parties had to engage in negotiations.
However, Sancho's unwillingness to lower his wage demands saw Chelsea leave the discussions and opt out of their purchase obligation by paying a €6m penalty fee to Man Utd.
Hojlund pushing for Man Utd exit

Much-maligned Man Utd striker Rasmus Hojlund is pushing for a return to Serie A after growing discontent at Old Trafford. As things stand, Man Utd are only willing to sanction a permanent exit, and only for the right price.
Despite widespread links to Inter in recent days, it is claimed that Juventus hold the most concrete and advanced interest in the Denmark international at present. Inter have yet to hold any serious talks with Hojlund's camp.
Napoli, too, are credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, but they similarly have yet to really act on their attraction. The Serie A champions are prioritising a move for a left-winger for now.
