Reijnders has agreed a contract until 2030 worth €8m per season.

He underwent his medical on Sunday morning in Manchester before flying back to the Netherlands.

His transfer could also be officially announced by Man City on Sunday.

Reijnders confirmed the move after Netherlands' 2-0 win over Finland in World Cup qualifying on Saturday.

“I'm flying to Manchester on (Sunday) morning and then I'll be back in Zeist in the evening”, he told Dutch TV.

The Cityzens are in the process of revamping Pep Guardiola's side after one of the poorest seasons in his illustrious managerial career. Already in January, Man City shelled out over €200 million on new recruits to add fresh faces to an ageing squad.

This spending is showing no signs of slowing down, and the Premier League giants are currently closing three deals.

Ait-Nouri and Reijnders will cost €110m combined, while City are also close to bringing in Rayan Cherki from Lyon for around €35m.
