Liverpool fans FURIOUS as Alexander-Arnold issues subtle dig

Trent Alexander-Arnold has seemingly issued a subtle dig at Liverpool by admitting that Real Madrid training is “a lot different” to what he is used to.
The England international joined Real Madrid for €10 million on 1 June, after the Spanish giants agreed to pay a fairly sizable fee to end his Liverpool contract early, and he was officially unveiled as a new Los Blancos player last week.
Alexander-Arnold has been put through his paces by new head coach Xabi Alonso in Miami ahead of Real Madrid’s Club World Cup opener this week, and he discussed his thoughts on training during an interview with the club’s website.
“Hot to start with but a good session with some good things. High quality. The ball moves very fast,” Alexander-Arnold admitted.
“Obviously it's a lot different to what I'm used to in terms of the players and the style of play but it's good and I'm enjoying the change and I'm enjoying being a part of it. It feels really good and I'm happy to be here to be honest.
When asked about his start to life with Los Blancos, Alexander-Arnold added: “It's the same for the rest of the lads, it's a new manager and a new set of staff involved in that sense we are all starting off on the same foot.
“I can't say enough about the lads and how they made me feel welcome and at home.
“They've all put in a lot of effort, spoken to me, made me feel comfortable and made sure any questions I had - especially with the translations and things - they've helped me a lot with everything.”

Trent Alexander-Arnold angers Liverpool fans
Alexander-Arnold’s latest comments haven’t resonated well amongst the Liverpool fanbase, however, with many supporters still angered by his decision to leave the club on a Bosman deal.
One posted: “The disrespect is unreal,” while a second simply said: “The arrogance” in response to the Englishman’s take on Real Madrid training.
The 26-year-old made 354 senior appearances during his time at Anfield, registering 115 goal contributions, and he helped his boyhood club win nine trophies, including the Premier League on two occasions and the Champions League.
The England international, who signed a six-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu upon his arrival, is reportedly set to make his Real Madrid debut against Al-Hilal in their opening fixture of the 2025 Club World Cup on Wednesday.
