Liverpool summer transfers 2025: Every signing, sale and loan
Liverpool secured their second ever Premier League title in May, and Arne Slot is being rewarded with significant reinforcements this summer as the Reds bid to defend their crown.
The Anfield outfit have enjoyed an extremely successful streak of transfers in recent years, with the majority of their new signings immediately performing well, and they will hope to continue that trend this summer.
Liverpool have identified a number of high-profile targets over the past few months and they are aiming to build a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts during the 2025-26 season.
Last summer, Liverpool signed Giorgi Mamardashvili and Federico Chiesa, although the former was sent back to Valencia on loan and the latter barely featured, while they sold both Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho to Brentford.
This year, Liverpool have already completed the signing of Bayer Leverkusen stars Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz as well as Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez and Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has joined Real Madrid, while Caoimhin Kelleher became the third Reds player to join Brentford in the past year. Jarell Quansah has joined Bayer Leverkusen a club-record deal for the Bundesliga side.

Liverpool’s potential incomings and outgoings
Liverpool have managed to get the majority of their summer business done by July, but there is still one area that the Reds would like to strengthen.
The Anfield club have been monitoring the centre-back market since 2023 and are expected to finally bring in a fresh face this summer. Virgil van Dijk is not getting younger, and Ibrahima Konate is stalling on a new deal, so he would be free to leave next year.
Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi is understood to be one of Liverpool's top centre-back targets, while there have also been links with U21 Euros winner Charlie Cresswell.
Meanwhile, several players are set to be sold by Liverpool this summer.
Darwin Nunez's future is up in the air. He was almost guaranteed to be offloaded heading into the summer, but a move to Napoli fell through, and the tragic passing of Diogo Jota means that the Uruguay international could now be kept around.
Harvey Elliott and Joe Gomez have also been linked with exits, with the latter already exploring a move away in summer 2024.
Liverpool insist that Luis Diaz is not for sale, but Bayern Munich are determined to sign the Colombian, who has reportedly handed in a transfer request.
Kostas Tsimakas’ future is also uncertain following the arrival of Milos Kerkez.
