Fabrizio Romano transfer news: Liverpool CONFIRMATION, Chelsea DEAL SOON, Gyokeres PRIORITY

Football transfer news reporter Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest on all the biggest headlines, including done deals at Liverpool and Chelsea, as well as the latest on Viktor Gyokeres.
Kerkez to Liverpool: Done deal
Romano has announced that everything is completed in the deal that will take Milos Kerkez to Liverpool after a long saga.
Taking to YouTube, he says: “Today is the day for Milos Kerkez. The medical is completed and the contract is signed. He’s the new left-back for Arne Slot, with £40 million to Bournemouth.
“It’s another deal completed for Liverpool, who have been really ambitious on the transfer market with sporting director Richard Hughes. After Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, they have a new left-back with Kerkez.”
Darwin Nunez deal complicated
Liverpool have been linked with a blockbuster move for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, but to have a chance of that, they are likely to need to sell Darwin Nunez first. That promises to be no easy task, according to Romano.
“Napoli want Darwin Nunez and see him as a dream target, but at the moment a deal is still not easy financially. It’s going to take some time. We’re in the early stages of the process.
Napoli will meet with people involved in the deal to discuss conditions with Liverpool and also the player’s camp,” Romano says.
“Darwin wants to go to Napoli, where the doors are opened for him. He’s ready to say yes. But there also has to be a financial agreement with Liverpool, with an important transfer fee, so not that easy. Also, that’s the same with Darwin in terms of salary, commission and the whole package.
“There is also interest from Saudi and European clubs. The Darwin story is open. Napoli are still working on that one because they have an initial green light for the player.”

INEOS snap up Man City star
Manchester United owners Ineos are poised to snap up a promising Manchester City youngster for Nice.
“There’s a lot of movement in France with Nice completing a deal for Manchester City’s talented defender Juma Bah, who is going there despite a bid from Lyon. The agreement is almost done and will be completed in the next 24-48 hours,” Romano says.
Barcelona hijack almost completed
Barcelona are ready to complete a shrewd piece of transfer business, with the Camp Nou side moving quickly to get this deal done ahead of Porto, Romano has revealed.
“In the last 24 hours, I’ve told you how Barcelona have been closing in on a deal for Roony Bardghji, this talented Swedish winger out of contract in December with Copenhagen,” he says.
“There was almost a deal done with Porto. The club-to-club agreement was done. There were negotiations between Porto and the player. And then Barcelona appeared on the scene to reach an agreement with Bardghji.
“With Copenhagen, it’s a €2m fixed fee, add-ons, and a sell-on clause around 10-15%. For Bardghji, it’s a long-term contract. The salary is agreed and he will go to Barcelona. It’s a here we go for Bardghji, a talented winger for the present and for the future. Keep an eye on this boy because he’s considered a massive talent with a small transfer fee only because of contract expiring in December.
“The timing of this deal will go into July. It will go into next week.”
What’s happening with Nico Williams?
Don’t expect anything to be resolved too quickly with Nico Williams either, despite the Spain star telling Athletic Club that he wants to leave.
Romano reveals: “Probably going into next week as well with Nico Williams. But for Nico, who is one of the sagas of the summer transfer window, we have something more to say today. today. And what we have to say is that Nico Williams has informed his agent, has informed Athletic Bilbao, about the desire of the player to go to Barcelona.
“It will be €7-8m net per season salary on a six-year contract for Nico, the same as Joan Garcia. So everything’s done between Nico Williams and Barcelona on the contract.

“Now the player has taken another step and told Athletic that he wants to go to Barcelona. The message is clear. What’s the reaction from Athletic Club? Respecting the player’s desire but at the same time still not opening doors to any different solution than the payment of the realise clause.
“Barcelona were hoping Athletic to maybe open the doors to the possibility of instalments or different payment terms.
“The position of Athletic that they have told Nico Williams is: ‘OK, you want to go to Barcelona? Pay the release clause. €58m plus taxes. So around €61-62m in total. One solution.’
“Barcelona have the ball in their court. If they ant to make the deal happen, they have to pay the release clause. It’s Barca who have to close this deal because Nico has done everything possible.”
Chelsea pushing to get Gittens done
Chelsea’s typically busy transfer window continues, with a deal expected soon for Jamie Gittens.
“I can confirm today that Chelsea are expected to sign Jamie Gittens,” Romano said. “They had a meeting in the US with Borussia Dortmund. Both clubs are there for the Club World Cup and a direct meeting took place on Monday. It was a positive meeting. There is a feeling a deal can be done soon.
“With a new proposal coming from Chelsea, with the player confirming to Chelsea that he wants to go to London and play for Chelsea, he’s not currently negotiating with Bayern. His total priority is Chelsea.
“He’s agreed a seven-year contract. This was done two or three weeks ago. Now Chelsea are working to close the deal with Borussia Dortmund. At the moment, Bayern are not involved.”
Arsenal still in pole for Gyokeres
Viktor Gyokeres’ transfer saga is increasingly controversial, with the Sweden star pushing to leave Sporting.
Romano says: “Viktor Gyokeres’ priority remains Arsenal. He wants to go to Arsenal and play Champions League football. He never rejected Manchester United but he told them his priority would be Arsenal. So let’s follow the Gyokeres-Benjamin Sesko situation at Arsenal, which is still ongoing.
“We can confirm reports from Portugal that Gyokeres has told Sporting that he doesn’t want to play for them any more. He wants to go. He doesn’t even want to train if the situation continues like this. He wants his exit pact to be respected. And so now it’s on Sporting to find a solution.”
