Alexander Isak receives RECORD contract offer ahead of HUGE transfer bid

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has received an offer for a record deal as the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona circle around the Sweden international forward.
Isak, 25, is considered to be the dream centre-forward target for some of the biggest clubs in the world after scoring more than 20 Premier League goals in back-to-back seasons.
Newcastle are desperate to hang onto the former Real Sociedad star and are ready to use the financial windfall from their Champions League qualification to fuel a new contract offer for the player, The Times reports.
Isak lags the likes of Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon as the club’s top earner, but that could soon change as the Magpies are prepared to make him their best-paid player ever.
Liverpool preparing massive offer
Liverpool are the club furthest advanced in making a bid for the No.9 and, after securing deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez, are ready to launch another massive offer in what is proving to be a historic transfer window for the club.
The Times reports that the Anfield club are willing to make an offer of €136m for Isak. Newcastle believe that this bid could be made in the early part of July.
Isak is under contract until 2028, meaning that Newcastle are in full control over his future. Naturally, there is no desire on the club to sell him, but the fear is that the player’s form will be affected if he becomes unsettled.
Liverpool, who are poised to sell Darwin Nunez this summer, will be able to offer the striker a far higher salary than even the record figure the Magpies offer him, which is why the Geordie club want to get the situation resolved as rapidly as possible.
The future of Isak looks likely to be at Newcastle, but after his agent put contract talks on hold last summer, there remains lingering doubts, particularly with Liverpool and Arsenal in the market for a striker.
