Desire Doue to Arsenal? PSG Champions League hero drops Premier League transfer hint

Desire Doue enjoys newfound superstar status following PSG’s Champions League victory over Inter on Saturday.
Doue, who turns 20 on 3 June, scored two and created another as Luis Enrique’s side demolished the Italian side 5-0 in a record-breaking victory in Munich.
But it was not just the output of the attacker that caught the eye; he played with flair and freedom, which brought an additional dimension to the Ligue 1 giants.
After the game, there was a painful reminder that Arsenal and Chelsea had refused to stump up the money to sign the player from Rennes last summer.
Could Doue move to the Premier League in the future?
Doue’s future certainly could be in England. That’s what Ligue 1 expert Julien Laurens believes as he told TNT Sports: “Ligue 1 is still a feeder league. Desire Doue will move to the Premier League one day.”
The player himself has hinted that he’s ready for that possibility. When speaking to the UK media following the game, he spoke in confident English.
“I’ve no words. It’s incredible for me,” the teenager said.
When asked about Luis Enrique, he said: “He’s been here for two years and he’s made history for the club. Tactically, mentally, he’s a really good coach. As a human being too, it’s a pleasure to work with him.”
"I have NO words!" 😅

Doue’s level of English is particularly accomplished given that Spanish, aside from French, is the language most widely spoken in the PSG dressing room.
It suggests that the teenager could angle for a move to the Premier League in the future, although clearly PSG have no plans to sell the young superstar at present.
“No player will be sold,” L’Equipe quotes a source close to the club, stating on Sunday morning. “We’ve got a squad of European champions. If anyone wants one of our players, it will be at our price.”
Doue is under contract at PSG until 2029 and with an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €76.5m, don’t expect football’s newest superstar to move anywhere… yet.
