That is according to renowned French publication L’Equipe, who state that Enzo Maresca’s side are currently in talks to sign Kolo Muani this summer.

The 26-year-old, who is on loan at Juventus until the end of the Club World Cup, isn’t part of Luis Enrique’s long-term plans at PSG and the reigning Ligue 1 champions are eager to offload him in an attempt to recoup some of the €95 million transfer fee they paid to sign him in 2023.

Juventus are interested in re-signing Kolo Muani this summer, although they would prefer to agree another loan deal, and Manchester United are known admirers of the Frenchman too. However, Chelsea have now reportedly initiated contact with PSG as they ponder a possible bid.

The Blues are also interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, but the Bundesliga side are unwilling to sanction a sale unless they receive an offer worth €100m.

Chelsea have identified Brighton & Hove Albion star Joao Pedro as a potential transfer target too, while the club have already completed the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.

Nicolas Jackson to leave Chelsea?

Chelsea’s interest in Kolo Muani comes following growing rumours that Nicolas Jackson will be sold this summer.

The Senegal international was shown his second red card in his last four Chelsea appearances during their 3-1 defeat to Flamengo on Friday, and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he could be offloaded if a bid of €60m is submitted.

Aston Villa, Juventus, Manchester United and Napoli have all been linked with a move for Jackson in recent weeks, despite the fact he still has eight years remaining on his current Chelsea contract.
