Chelsea target drops HUGE transfer hint ahead of €100m move

West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus has signed with a new agency as he looks to secure a big-money transfer this summer.
The Ghana international has become the latest star to join sports management firm ROOF, who also represent the likes of Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, Arsenal striker Kai Havertz and Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman.
That is according to The Sun, who claim that Kudus could be set for an extremely busy summer amid significant interest in his services.
Arsenal and Liverpool are both known admirers of the 24-year-old, and have held initial talks in recent months, while Newcastle United have also registered their interest in a potential swap deal.
In addition, The Athletic have confirmed that Kudus is on Chelsea’s radar as they look to sign a “versatile attacker” capable of bolstering Enzo Maresca’s squad. Brighton & Hove Albion’s Joao Pedro and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike are also being pursued by the Blues, although the latter is currently deemed too expensive at €100 million.
Kudus reportedly has a release clause included in his contract at West Ham, with Premier League clubs able to activate this clause by paying €100m, while teams in Saudi Arabia would be required to pay €147m.
However, this release clause is crucially only available from 1-10 July, according to The Sun.
Kudus scored five goals and provided four assists in 35 appearances across all competitions last season, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €61.7m.

Mohammed Kudus joins ROOF
Kudus cut ties with former agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch last summer and he placed a family member in charge of his affairs before signing with ROOF, as per The Sun.
ROOF recently helped Van Dijk secure a lucrative new two-year contract with Liverpool, while they played a key role in Caoimhin Kelleher’s move to Brentford in early June.
