Fabrizio Romano Transfer News: 'CRAZY' Bruno Fernandes offer as Man Utd decide Amorim FATE

Fabrizio Romano has provided some massive updates on the biggest transfer stories from around Europe, including the latest on Ruben Amorim and Alejandro Garnacho after Manchester United’s Europa League final loss on Wednesday.
Man Utd to stick with Amorim
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano explained Man Utd’s belief in Amorim and claimed that the club will stick with their under-pressure manager ‘unless something completely crazy happens.’
Romano said: “The message we are getting from Manchester United is that they will stick with the manager. They support the manager. They believe Ruben Amorim is the right man for the job.
“Manchester United’s intention is to continue with Ruben Amorim unless something completely crazy happens, which is something that can happen in football after big disappointments.
“But the clear idea of the club is to continue with Ruben Amorim to support him, and it is really important to back him in the market. This is going to be a crucial point.”

Man Utd could cash in Garnacho after controversial comments
Romano also expanded on the future of Alejandro Garnacho after the United winger admitted his frustration with being on the bench for the loss to Tottenham following the club’s loss.
“The relationship between Alejandro Garnacho and Manchester United is not the same already since January,” Romano said. “In January, the player was a target for Napoli and was in conversations with Chelsea. So there were movements around Garnacho.
“Nothing happened in the end because no-one was able to reach the agreement on the financial package with Manchester United and with Garnacho in terms of contract terms. But it's also important to say that this summer the story could be different.
“Clubs are expected to discuss Garnacho because these quotes are very strong. Also, it's important to mention that United may look to add one more player behind the striker apart from Matheus Cunha and may need to sell some players, and Garnacho could be one of them.
“So the feeling is that if Man United receive a good proposal, Garnacho could be one of the players leaving the club in this summer transfer window.”

Fernandes receives ‘crazy’ Al-Hilal offer
Bruno Fernandes’ future also came into question after the loss, with the Man Utd captain admitting he would understand if the club cashed in on him this summer, although he insisted his decision won’t be influenced by money.
“In the last three years Bruno had important proposals from Saudi – he didn't take it, he decided to stay at Manchester United sign a new deal one year ago, so Bruno has always been super committed,” Romano said.
“The message from Bruno is ‘I'm happy here. I want to help Manchester United but I need to feel that this club is going same direction as me and want me to be a crucial part of this project’.
“Amorim wants Bruno to stay, he considers Fernandes a crucial part of this project. So for Ruben it’s very clear. Now we have to see financially the answer from the club to this message from Bruno Fernandes.
“Bruno has a very important, I would say almost crazy, contract proposal from Al-Hilal. Al-Hilal met with his agents and would be ready to do important things also in terms of the financial proposal to Manchester United.
“So let's see what happens there, but only if Man United decide to open doors. Bruno wants to stay and Amorim want him to stay. So the only way is if Man United decide to open doors to his exit, with Al-Hilal waiting and hoping to enter on the scene.”

Liverpool and Bayern Munich battling for Wirtz
Romano also provided an update on Florian Wirtz, who has held talks with Bayern Munich and Liverpool in recent days over a record transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.
“The Florian Wirtz situation is with the player now,” Romano said. “He is talking with his family and considering the options available. The battle for Wirtz is absolutely ongoing with Bayern Munich, who maintain their confidence to get the player.
“Bayern still need an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen on their side and Liverpool remain calm. Liverpool made their best effort to present the project to Wirtz. Liverpool told the player ‘if you want to come, we will be ready’ in terms of negotiations with Leverkusen and in terms of offering him an important contract and important project.
“It’s really important to see what the player wants to do but the crucial part of this story is Bayern maintain their confidence and Liverpool who are still there waiting to see what Florian decides to do.”
