Confirmed: Chelsea in THREE-WAY battle for Joao Pedro

Chelsea are reportedly set to battle Arsenal and Liverpool for the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion forward Joao Pedro during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Brazil international has scored 10 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions so far this season and he has been identified as a possible transfer target by the aforementioned three clubs amid their pursuit of a new striker.
That is according to The Telegraph, who have reported that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all keeping tabs on the 23-year-old.
Pedro has largely been deployed as a second striker since the appointment of Fabian Hurzeler as Brighton’s new head coach last summer, but that hasn’t dissuaded some of the biggest clubs in England from pursuing a move.
Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly both long-term admirers of Pedro, while Liverpool have now expressed their interest in his signature as they look to bolster Arne Slot’s first-team squad with the addition of at least one new forward this summer.
Darwin Nunez is expected to depart Anfield after a disappointing three-year stint with the Reds and they have identified Pedro as a possible replacement, along with the likes of Alexander Isak (Newcastle United) and Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid).
Chelsea, on the other hand, are looking to provide competition for Nicolas Jackson, while Arsenal are hoping to sign a suitable replacement for Kai Havertz.

Joao Pedro to leave Brighton?
Pedro has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €61.3 million, but previous reports have indicated that Brighton will demand a fee of roughly €120m in order to sanction a sale as his current contract at the AMEX Stadium isn’t due to expire until 2028.
The Seagulls completed a deal for 19-year-old Greece striker Stefanos Tzimas during the January transfer window and he could be promoted into the first-team next season if Pedro departs for one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
