Christopher Nkunku: Chelsea receive SHOCK enquiry as transfer 'guaranteed'

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing Chelsea outcast Christopher Nkunku during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The France international played a peripheral role during Enzo Maresca’s debut campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge and it was recently confirmed that he is “guaranteed” to leave Chelsea this summer.
Nkunku, 27, registered 14 goals in all competitions for the Blues across the 2024-25 season, however only three of those came in the Premier League, while he started just nine English top flight matches throughout the campaign.
The former RB Leipzig man is set to fall even further down the pecking order in west London this summer, as a result of Liam Delap’s imminent arrival from Ipswich Town, and he is therefore set to leave Stamford Bridge after a fairly underwhelming two-year stint at the club.
Bayern Munich were heavily linked with a move for Nkunku in January, but decided against pursuing a deal due to Chelsea’s asking price of at least €60 million, while Tottenham have now joined the race for his signature.
That is according to talkSPORT, who claim that Ange Postecoglou’s side have lodged an initial enquiry for Nkunku as they look to bolster their forward options ahead of their first season in the Champions League since 2022-23.

Tottenham want Christopher Nkunku
Richarlison has been heavily linked with a Spurs exit amid rumours of interest from Saudi Arabia, while Heung-min Son only has one year remaining on his current contract and he was named on the substitutes bench in the Europa League final after a disappointing campaign in which he only scored seven Premier League goals.
Mathys Tel will also leave Tottenham following the end of his loan spell from Bayern Munich, and the north London outfit are therefore eager to sign at least one new attacker this summer.
Nkunku has been identified as a key target as a result, and the Frenchman is reportedly open to the idea of staying in the Premier League, despite his struggles at Chelsea.
