Chelsea make deal for 22-year-old OFFICIAL: ‘He’ll be worth £70m in a couple of seasons’

Chelsea have completed another piece of important business prior to the opening of the transfer window.
Enzo Maresca’s side will welcome Estevao, Dario Essugo and Kendry Paez to the club this summer in a trio of deals that total nearly €65 million.
Now they have started to offset these costs by completing their first major summer sale, with Bashir Humphreys’ move to Burnley having been made official by both clubs.
Burnley, who will play Premier League football next season after winning promotion from the Championship with Humphreys playing a starring role, confirmed the news via their official website.
The 22-year-old defender has signed a four-year long contract, which will become valid when his loan from Chelsea ends on 1 July.
“I’m over the moon. From the minute I walked in last summer I have been welcomed with open arms and I'm glad to be here permanently now,” he said.
“It’s been such an amazing environment to be around, the Club itself, the team, the fans, it’s one of the best groups I have ever been a part of.
“The togetherness within this team is massive, I know it can be cliché, but it really is, and we’re excited for the next part of the journey in the Premier League.”
How much did Burnley pay to sign Bashir Humphreys?
While no fee has been made official yet, Humphreys, who played twice for Chelsea’s first team, has an Estimated Transfer Value of little over €9m.
Some fans believe that he could be worth a good deal more than that very shortly.
“He will be worth £70 million in a couple of seasons,” one warned Chelsea via X.
“Burnley are getting a solid addition,” another said.
Humphreys played 28 times for Burnley in all competitions, featuring across the backline for the Turf Moor side.
