Antonio Conte pushes Osimhen closer to Man Utd

If Antonio Conte leaves Napoli and returns to Juventus, it will increase the chances of Victor Osimhen moving to the Premier League.
Conte led the Neapolitans to only the fourth Scudetto in their history last Friday, and that has been followed by days of celebrations in Naples.
However, Conte is expected to leave Napoli after only one season at the Stadio Maradona. He held a final meeting on Tuesday with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurenttis where he will reflect before making a final decision on whether to remain at the club.
The feeling is that it is very likely that Conte will indeed leave Napoli and return to Juventus for a second spell as manager there.
Conte to Juventus?
Juventus have made Conte their number one target to be their coach for the 2025-26 season - and many believe a deal is already done.
Were Conte to take the reins at Juventus, it would greatly reduce the political power of Chief Football Office Cristiano Giuntoli.
Giuntoli decided against hiring Conte last summer and does not want him now, either, but has been overridden by those above him.
He is under severe pressure after a dismal season by Juventus, who finished fourth despite a heavy summer of investment - with many of Giuntoli’s big signings like Douglas Luiz and Teun Koopmeiners flopping.
The arrival of Conte could push Giuntoli out - and that will have a knock-on effect on Osimhen.

Giuntoli has a great relationship with Osimhen from their time together at Napoli, and has been in talks about signing him for Juventus next season.
Were Giuntoli to leave, or even have his power reduced by Conte, then the transfer of Osimhen to Juve would likely be off the table.
That would mean that Osimhen would be highly likely to move to the Premier League this summer.
With Arsenal probably set to sign Viktor Gyokeres, this opens the door wide for Man Utd.
United are in the market for a top class number nine and may not get a better chance than now to bring in one of the best strikers in world football from Napoli.
He has enjoyed a fantastic season with Galatasaray on loan this past season, scoring 36 goals in all competitions and winning the league.
Napoli will sell him for his €75 million release clause, available only to foreign clubs.
