Inside Liverpool's €200m summer transfer plan to TRANSFORM Slot's Premier League winners

Liverpool have outlined a pathway to a major summer of spending this summer, with €200 million of talent being lined up in a transformative window for the Premier League champions.
Arne Slot’s side secured their 20th league title last weekend and focus has now shifted onto the club’s recruitment plans for the summer, with a number of players likely to be moved on and replaced.
Liverpool have been significantly outspent by rivals in recent seasons, making their Premier League success even more impressive, and their prudence is seemingly set to payoff further with Slot likely to be handed a significant war chest for signings.
However, it will come at the expense of players such as Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez or Luis Diaz, all of whom have been targeted by Saudi Pro League sides, however Liverpool are unlikely to sell all three forwards.
Caoimhin Kelleher is also expected to be sold while offers will be entertained for fringe players such as Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas and Federico Chiesa – a summer signing only last year – with departures for all for players likely to net Liverpool more than €90m, according to their ETV.
With Nunez thought to be the club’s ideal sale in attack, the Uruguayan’s departure for his €59.7m ETV would take Liverpool’s potential transfer income to €150m, paving the way for huge incomings for Slot and his squad.

The sale of Nunez (or another forward) would finance a move for a player such as Hugo Ekitike, who is thought to be high on Liverpool’s shortlist after accepting that Alexander Isak is unlikely to be sold by Newcastle this summer.
Eintracht Frankfurt are expected to demand a fee in excess of €80m for Ekitike and, while that amount would certainly be a risk, Liverpool are said to be willing to pay ‘big money’ for the right player, according to The Telegraph.
However, Liverpool are set to focus much of their attention on finding long-term successors to their ageing defence, such as a move for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, who has an ETV of €61.6m.
Kerkez could also be joined by his Bournemouth teammate Dean Huijsen, with Liverpool thought to be frontrunners to activate the 19-year-old’s €60m release clause this summer.

The signings of Ekitike, Kerkez and Huijsen could exceed €200m – a large amount but one that is feasible with sales, particularly due to their healthy transfer standing.
Any further additions, such as that of Antoine Semenyo or a right-back to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, will perhaps depend on further developments in the summer but it has become clear that Liverpool will not hold back to build on a hugely successful first season under Slot and realign themselves amongst Europe’s elite.
