Marcus Rashford didn’t take long to get underway in the game against Wolves after he fired Manchester United to a one-nil advantage with a stunning strike.

The England international has been under the spotlight recently for his antics on a night out in Belfast.

Rashford faced disciplinary action for his absence from Friday's training session, reportedly due to late-night partying in the Northern Ireland capital.

Head coach Erik ten Hag opted not to include the forward in the lineup for the FA Cup triumph against Newport on Sunday but decided to put the forward in the starting XI against Wolves.

And Rashford repaid his manager for the selection, with a thumping effort from range. Fans online were jubilant about how he handled his return.
