Jadon Sancho will outlive Erik ten Hag at Manchester United despite his antics, according to Chris Sutton.

The winger's transfer saga is finally over. Sancho has rejoined his former club Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan without an option to buy, meaning that he will return to Man Utd in the summer.

Sancho had been in Red Devils exile since September after essentially calling Erik ten Hag a liar on social media and was desperate to head back to Dortmund after not featuring in a competitive game since his outburst. However, as FootballTransfers already exclusively revealed in early October, Sancho was not looking for a permanent exit - and neither were Man Utd.

With Sancho's value at an all-time low, the Red Devils didn't want to include a buy option in his loan. As for the player, he did not want to leave permanently because he is convinced that he will outlast Ten Hag at Old Trafford, we were told in October. Sancho is of the conviction that, if a new manager comes in, he will be brought back into the fold.

Sancho WILL outlive Ten Hag

According to former Norwich and Celtic striker Chris Sutton, this is exactly what will happen. "There's no agreement to sell on, I suspect Sancho will outlast Ten Hag at Manchester United," he said on the It's All Kicking Off podcast.

"It's ended like this, but I suspect he'll be back at Manchester United and if Ten Hag carries on the way he's going, I suspect he'll be off at the end of the season."

"I think you have a player there, a talented young player who, for whatever reason, thinks he's bigger than the club, bigger than Manchester United. And what he did to Ten Hag on social media was utterly ridiculous. It was pathetic."
