Liverpool target ANOTHER midfielder as Klopp continues overhaul

Liverpool and West Ham United both want to sign Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinksi on a free transfer in 2024, according to reports in Italy.
The Poland international has just over six months left on his existing deal in Naples and is set to become a free agent next summer unless he signs a new contract.
His situation at Napoli has alerted both Liverpool and West Ham, according to Calciomercato (via Sport Witness), with Juventus also keen on the 29-year-old.

Juventus have identified several different midfield targets as they look to sign a replacement for Paul Pogba, who tested positive for testosterone on two occasions earlier this season.
Zielinski and Nice’s Khephren Thuram are both on their transfer wish-list, while FootballTransfers understand that Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has also been looked at.
However, Massimiliano Allegri’s side will not have a free run at Zielinski, with Premier League clubs beginning to circle for the talented Polish star.

Liverpool and West Ham want Zielinski
Liverpool and West Ham both spent big on new central midfielders during the most recent transfer window, but it appears neither Jurgen Klopp or David Moyes are satisfied with the business they conducted.
Liverpool signed Dominik Szoboszlai (€70m), Ryan Gravenberch (€40m), Alexis Mac Allister (€42m) and Wataru Endo (€20m) this summer after sanctioning five midfield exits, including club captain Jordan Henderson.
As for West Ham, they spent a portion of the money earned through selling Declan Rice on the acquisitions of Edson Alvarez from Ajax and James Ward-Prowse from Southampton. That pair cost the Hammers a combined €72.8m.
Zielinski has made 14 appearances for Napoli this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in all competitions.
Rudi Garcia’s side are currently fourth in the Serie A table, with 21 points from their opening 11 games. They are seven points behind Inter, who lead the way in Italy.
