Outspoken LaLiga chief Javier Tebas has once again slammed other European leagues for their transfers.

The league president is a vocal critic of what he perceives to be "unsustainable" business practices in European football, with Paris Saint-Germain and the Premier League frequently the targets of his ire.

While attending Gazzetta dello Sport's Festival dello Sport in Trento, Italy, Tebas again railed against the big hitters of European football. "The owners' expenses there are enormous," the 61-year-old said of the Premier League, "and it is difficult to keep up."

MAN UTD TAKEOVER: Clear favourite FINALLY emerges

"In Spain, we [are told we] should change the model to achieve this [level], but we prefer to be sustainable and we do not want to create losses as happens in other places. We have won 34 European titles since 2000 and this shows that we can be sustainable also by looking at the accounts. There are increasingly competitive teams like Atleti, Betis, Sevilla, Villarreal..."

“We always look for the best time for the Clasico to be seen by everyone," Tebas revealed while hailing LaLiga's recent growth. "We move all over the planet, the departures of [Lionel] Messi and Cristiano [Ronaldo] were not a problem. Our numbers continue to be extraordinary."

"Since 2015, we have worked with a growth strategy for the brand, the teams and the tournament. It is a very competitive league, thanks to which our teams have also done great things in Europe.”

Abnormal transfer market

The LaLiga boss proceeded to give examples of what he believes to be "unsustainable" business: "What Bayern did with [Harry] Kane is not normal. Chelsea spent a lot, it didn't work and has [created] a lot of debt, the same thing happened to [Man] United."

"In Italy, there are clubs with losses: their owners must intervene to clean up their accounts and the payment of taxes can be deferred, something that does not exist in Spain."

REVEALED: Chelsea signing 'wasn't surprised' at shocking Premier League finish

"Serie A was able to buy important footballers thanks to some aid. In France, PSG lost €605 million, and without the tricks on their balance sheets, there would be many more [losses]. They have the title of champion in wasting money.”
