The 2023 summer transfer window was a very busy one for clubs all over the world, particularly in the Premier League and Saudi Arabia.

Four players were bought for over €100 million, with the British transfer record being broken twice as well as the Bundesliga transfer record being smashed by Bayern Munich.

The Saudi Pro League splashed a lot of money to bring in big names following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last season, with Al-Hilal signing three players over €50m.

However, the Premier League remained the biggest spenders as all the big teams strengthened during a busy transfer window.
