West Ham have found the going difficult during the summer window, with Moyes’ side frustrated at being quoted inflated prices on players from clubs aware they have cash to burn following the Rice deal.

Nevertheless, the Hammers hold big ambitions for the end of the summer transfer window, with as many as six players being targeted by West Ham boss Moyes, according to 90Min.

Among the latest players to be linked with transfers to West Ham are Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay, and Chelsea striker Armando Broja, with Moyes willing to explore the loan market.

West Ham, who will compete in the Europa League this season after winning the Conference League last term, certainly have ample room in their squad for additions, having also sold Arthur Masuaku to Besiktas, while Manuel Lanzini was allowed to leave on a free transfer and join River Plate in his native Argentina.
