Man Utd transfer on brink of COLLAPSING

Manchester United’s sale of Harry Maguire to West Ham is on the brink of collapsing.
That’s according to transfer journalist Alan Nixon, who reports that Maguire’s move is stalling over personal terms.
Maguire earns £190,000 per week at Old Trafford and West Ham are yet to satisfy his salary demands.

Nixon further reports that Maguire is considering staying at Man Utd and fighting for his place in the team.
Subsequently, West Ham are looking at Bayer Leverkusen defender Odilon Kossounou as a £30 million alternative to Maguire.
West Ham had a bid of around £30m for Maguire accepted on Thursday, having fallen short with their opening bid.

It was expected that personal terms would not be a problem but that has not proved to be the case.
Maguire’s Man Utd struggles
Maguire has endured two miserable past seasons for Man Utd, ever since Euro 2020.
After an error-prone 2021-22 season, he finally lost his place in the first team during the 2022-23 campaign as manager Erik ten Hag preferred Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez as his centre back pairing.
When Maguire did play he often struggled, including two huge errors in the Europa League quarter-final defeat to Sevilla.
Maguire dropped to fifth choice in the centre back pecking order at United by the final months of the season, with left-back Luke Shaw even preferred to him in the absence of Martinez and Varane.
The 30-year-old is still expected to leave this summer in order to protect his position for the England national team ahead of Euro 2024.
Maguire joined Man Utd from Leicester in a world record deal for a defender in 2019.
He has made 175 appearances and scored seven goals.
