‘HOW MUCH?!’ - Liverpool rage as Chelsea's Mount price revealed

Liverpool fans are furious after learning about the price for Mason Mount.

The Reds see the Chelsea star as one of their major targets this summer and have reportedly been in talks with his side over a move.

Mount is out of contract in 2024, meaning Chelsea must look to sell this summer window or risk losing the attacker for free next year.

The player has so far turned down further offers from the west London side and looks to be heading for the exit. Only there is a sticking point: the club’s valuation of him.

Despite not accepting fresh terms and having only one year left on his deal, Chelsea have put a hefty £85million price tag on Mount.

It’s a sizeable amount given the circumstances - and one which has enraged several fans online who feel that Mount is not worth that much.

Manchester United, who are linked as well, are looking at a £55m bid - but given the price set by Chelsea, it will likely fall short. Mount has had numerous talks with Chelsea about a fresh term but still nothing is signed.

And fans of his possible future clubs have been pulling their hair out after learning how much their respective clubs might have to pay.
