What did Romano say?

The Italian transfer guru reaffirmed his earlier reporting to his 14.4m Twitter followers and 1.58m YouTube subscribers while also providing some new information.

"For Chelsea," Romano said, "from what I understand, [he] is not the priority now. They know the conditions of the deal, but at the moment, Chelsea have different priorities. For Manchester United, it's one of the possibilities they have on their list for the midfield, but again, it depends on the club sale how much they can invest in a midfielder."

But for Liverpool, the situation is different: "Liverpool will have direct contact with Mac Allister's people very soon to present their project. Mac Allister is a player who is on Liverpool's list. This is the situation."

"From what I understand," the Italian reporter concluded, "Mac Allister will 100 per cent leave Brighton in the summer. The player has been very clear on that and it's something that was already discussed with the Brighton board...Mac Allister wants to move as soon as possible in the transfer window."
