Juventus star Adrien Rabiot has hinted he would be open to a Premier League move next summer after coming close to joining Manchester United.

The France midfielder was heavily linked to Old Trafford during the last transfer window, only to see the move fail to materialise.

He instead opted to stay in Turin, which has been his home since he left boyhood club Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

Revealed: The star Madrid really want from Man Utd

Rabiot has enjoyed an upturn in fortunes at Juve since that failed move, scoring five goals in 16 games so far in 2022-23 after failing to hit even once throughout the entirety of the previous term.

And with his current contract expiring next summer, he would still consider the English top flight.

"In the end, once it was clear I would not go to United, I focused straight back on Juventus to give everything I had," Rabiot, who is currently in Qatar as part of France's World Cup squad, explained to ESPN.

"I didn't want people to doubt my commitment or to think that because I could have left for United, I would not care anymore.

"I am out of contract in June, and I don't want people to think that I am not committed or invested at Juve this season.

"I feel attracted by the football, by the Premier League itself and its super competitive nature. I loved my time there, even if I was young. I liked the culture and the life; my family liked it too.

When will Rabiot make future decision?

Rabiot did not point out that he would not make any decisions until after France's participation in Qatar has come to an end.

"I am not indifferent to playing in England, but there will be many options to consider. I have not spoken with Juve about the future, for example as our start to the season was tough, plus the World Cup was coming and I wanted to focus on it," he added.

"After the World Cup, i will start thinking about my future more concretely."
