Revealed: The massive wage Rudiger wants to sign Chelsea deal

Antonio Rudiger’s Chelsea future continues to hang in the balance, with the Germany central defender having failed to agree terms to a new contract.
Rudiger, who has impressed immensely since Thomas Tuchel took over at Stamford Bridge a year ago, is presently free to discuss terms with foreign clubs.
While there is no indication that talks have opened, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are notably thought to be tracking the 28-year-old, who may see this as a last opportunity to earn one big contract.
Certainly, the former Roma player seems eager to maximise his payment.

According to Marca, Rudiger wants a four-year contract with the Blues, worth a total of €55 million (£46m).
Furthermore, the Spanish source reports that Chelsea’s opening offer “upset” Rudiger as it was only around the €160,000 (£135,000) mark, which would have left him outside of the club’s top 10 earners.
After playing a key role in the Champions League success last season, it is reported that he wants to be given a status in the club accordingly. This wage represents €8.3m per year, which is well short of the €13.75m that he is demanding.
Will PSG or Madrid sign Rudiger?
It remains to be seen if Real Madrid and PSG are willing to match Rudiger’s demands, although the French side certainly have the capacity to. Equally, Madrid have flexed their financial muscles in recent times to attract David Alaba to the Bernabeu for a wage of around €12m per year.
Despite Rudiger’s excellent form over the past year, though, he has not established himself at the top of the game for season after season like figures such as Alaba and Sergio Ramos, who departed Madrid for PSG at the end of his contract in 2021.
Meanwhile, the defender's aim is reportedly to stay where he is, but unless the club come closer to his demands, that may not be possible.
There is a very real threat that Rudiger could leave Chelsea at the end of his deal, especially if the club continue to low ball the defender.
