Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku are set for a season-long duel, according to Manchester United and Chelsea fans.
Both strikers returned to clubs that they had previously left late in the transfer window and made their homecoming on Saturday.
Ronaldo did so in spectacular style as he scored twice to help Man Utd to a 4-1 home win over Newcastle. Lukaku, who had helped Chelsea overcome Arsenal previously, then netted a double as the Blues turned in an accomplished 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge over Aston Villa.

Ronaldo’s mum goes viral
The Ronaldo-Lukaku debate was not the only thing lighting up Twitter in the aftermath of Saturday’s Premier League matches, though.
