The agent of Manchester United star Paul Pogba has admitted that Juventus is a serious option for the player next season.

The France international has been in superb form for the Old Trafford side so far this season, having created seven assists in his first five games in all competitions.

Indeed, Pogba remains a key member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side but could be set to leave the club if his contract situation isn’t resolved soon.

As things currently stand, the midfielder will leave Man Utd next June when his current deal expires.

And while his agent, Mina Raiola, was happy to admit that negotiations with the Premier League side are still to take place, he also confirmed that Serie A giants Juventus entice the player away from England.

"Pogba's contract expires next year. We will talk to Manchester and see,” said Pogba’s agent in an interview with Corriere Dello Sport.

“For sure Turin has remained in his heart and he cares a lot about these things. The possibility of returning to Juventus is there but it also depends on Juve."

Will Pogba stay at Man Utd?

With very little evidence of contract negotiations taking place between the player’s representatives and the club, it seems more than likely that Pogba is planning to leave Man Utd at the end of this season.

However, things change very quickly in football and with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo all arriving at the club this summer there is the possibility that Pogba could be convinced to stay put and play a leading role in one of the strongest squads in European football.

If not, the player will reportedly have serious offers to consider from Juventus and Real Madrid when the January transfer window opens in a few months time.
