Victor Osimhen latest
Chelsea remain interested in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, although Galatasaray are “optimistic” of agreeing a permanent deal for the Nigerian.
That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that Osimhen has been offered an annual salary of between €15-20 million from the Turkish giants.
However, seven other clubs, including Chelsea, are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old.
Arsenal hijack Jorrel Hato deal
Chelsea’s hopes of signing Ajax defender Jorrel Hato have been damaged following news that Arsenal are determined to win the race for his signature.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been linked with a move for Hato for several months, although Chelsea have emerged as strong contenders to sign him in recent weeks.
However, Arsenal have made “important steps” in recent days, according to TEAMtalk, with Chelsea ending talks for the time being due to their participation at the Club World Cup.
Alejandro Garnacho decision
Alejandro Garnacho is eager to remain in the Premier League if he leaves Manchester United this summer, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Ruben Amorim has informed the Argentina international that he is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, and Chelsea are among the clubs monitoring his situation.
The Blues have shortlisted Garnacho as a potential target amid their pursuit of a new left winger, with Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens also on the club’s radar.
Jhon Duran to join?
If Chelsea are unable to finalise a deal for the aforementioned Osimhen or fellow target Hugo Ekitike, they could turn their attention to signing Jhon Duran.
The Colombia international has been heavily linked with an Al-Nassr exit, despite only joining the club in January, and a return to the Premier League has been mooted as a possibility.
Chelsea were interested in purchasing the ex-Aston Villa star last summer and they could rekindle their pursuit of his signature, despite the recent arrival of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
