Exclusive: Arsenal go ‘all in’ for Eberechi Eze

Arsenal are confident of reaching a full agreement to sign Crystal Palace superstar Eberechi Eze this summer, FootballTransfers has been informed.

In fact, we have been told that Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is prepared to go “all in” for the 27-year-old.

Eze’s current contract at Crystal Palace includes a €77.8 million (£68m) release clause, although Arsenal are likely to pay this fee in instalments.

The Gunners have agreed to pay an initial €34.3m (£30m) for the England midfielder and discussions between the two clubs are now centred around the payment structure of remaining €43.5m (£38m). We understand that Crystal Palace want the entire fee paid within two years.

Eze has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal and he has informed Palace of his desire to complete a move to the Emirates Stadium before the end of the 2025 summer transfer window.

Declan Rice slams Arsenal fans

Declan Rice has taken aim at Arsenal supporters following their widespread criticism of Noni Madueke’s arrival.

“There’s obviously been a lot of talk around his [Madueke] signing. I didn’t like it, if I’m speaking honestly,” the England midfielder told reporters (via The Athletic).

“But I know how driven he is. I’ve spoken to him, and you’re going to see what he’s about this season. As football players, and players who have played with him, we know the quality he has.

“He’s so driven, and he’s proven. He wants to prove, and show everyone, what he can do, and I think you’re going to see that. There’s a hunger inside his belly.”

Jorrel Hato to snub Chelsea?

Arsenal have initiated talks with Ajax as they look to hijack Chelsea’s proposed move for Jorrel Hato.

That is according to Spanish publication Fichajes, who state that Arsenal are confident of winning the race for Hato’s signature, with the 19-year-old seen as a “long-term strategic investment” by the Gunners.

However, Chelsea remain the frontrunners to land Hato, having already reached a verbal agreement over personal terms, as per CaughtOffside.

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf claim that Ajax have set their asking price at between €55-60m for the defender, while Fabrizio Romano states that €40m may be enough for Chelsea to land the Netherlands international.
