The first new signings of the summer were confirmed at the start of June after FIFA introduced a new transfer window from 1-10 June due to the new-look Club World Cup, which was eventually won by Chelsea.

The window then reopened on 16 June for clubs in England and France, and on 1 July for clubs in Spain, Germany and Italy.

As a result, the summer transfer window is open for every single club in European football, and high-profile deals are being completed at an exceptionally quick rate.

Several big moves are expected to be confirmed soon. Viktor Gyokeres stands on the brink of signing for Arsenal, while Victor Osimhen is poised to join Galatasaray.

Huge deals are still brewing at Liverpool, who are seeking to sign Newcastle United's Alexander Isak in a record switch, while Luis Diaz could leave for Bayern Munich in a blockbuster deal. Questions are also being asked of Darwin Nunez's future at Anfield.

Chelsea are hoping to offload multiple players after a busy start to the window, with Nicolas Jackson the latest star to be linked with an exit, Juventus are determined to offload Dusan Vlahovic, and Benjamin Sesko is a key target for Newcastle should Isak leave.
