Arsenal Transfer News Today: Gyokeres agreement as signing confirmed

All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Noni Madueke.
Exclusive: Arsenal ready second Mosquera bid

FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal are preparing a fresh bid for Valencia defender Christhian Mosquera.
The Gunners' opening offer was rejected by the LaLiga side, who want around €22m for the Spaniard.
However, Arsenal know that Mosquera only has a year left on his deal and that he is keen on the move, so they are trying to push down his fee.
Arsenal close to Gyokeres agreement

Arsenal are on the verge of reaching a verbal agreement with Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.
However, the Gunners are still seeking clarity on how much the Swede will ultimately cost as his dispute with Sporting over his price continues.
Meanwhile, talks with Benjamin Sesko are 'at a standstill' and a summer transfer of the Leipzig striker is no longer guaranteed.
Kepa signing announced
Arsenal have officially announced the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Spaniard joins as the Gunners' new No.2 and will challenge David Raya for the starting spot.
Kepa is still history's most expensive goalkeeper, but the former €80m man only cost Arsenal €6m.
Arsenal make Madueke offer

Arsenal have submitted a contract offer to Chelsea winger Noni Madueke as they continue their search for wide reinforcements.
The England international has attracted attention from the Gunners and other Premier League clubs as Chelsea would be willing to listen to offers.
However, there have so far been no talks with the Blues, and Chelsea are not actively pushing Madueke out.
Isak move possible?

Alexander Isak could be on the move this summer after all, should he reject Newcastle's offer of a contract extension, with the Magpies keen to tie him to fresh terms.
It is claimed that a transfer could become 'distinctly possible' as both Arsenal and Liverpool remain huge admirers of the Sweden international. Liverpool, in particular, are said to be preparing a bid for him after Monday's financial year deadline.
Meanwhile, Isak also remains Mikel Arteta's dream target for Arsenal, although the Gunners have been focusing on Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres due to Newcastle's not-for-sale stance.
Brentford director confirms Norgaard move

Brentford's sporting director Phil Giles has effectively admitted that Christian Norgaard is on his way to Arsenal, although he made sure to emphasise that a deal isn't fully wrapped up yet.
“Arsenal approached us in the last two weeks about Christian – we’ve spoken regularly with Andrea Berta," he said. “As it stands, I think it’s more likely to happen than not, but we have to go through the full process, tick all the boxes, and we’ll see at the end of it.
Norgaard is set to replace Thomas Partey, who has left Arsenal as a free agent after the expiration of his contract.
Romano confirms Eze interest

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has confirmed FootballTransfers' reporting that Arsenal are seriously considering making a move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
The Gunners are looking for attacking reinforcements and are stepping up their interest in Eze after not receiving any encouragement from top target Rodrygo that a deal is possible.
Arsenal have enquired about Eze to get a clear picture of what is required to sign him from the Eagles this summer.
Arsenal enter Ekitike race

Arsenal have joined the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, who has been given a €100 million price tag.
It is unclear if Arsenal would be ready to spend that much on the Frenchman, considering that they are currently trying to push down the fees required for Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko.
Ekitike is now another option under consideration by the Gunners, but Sesko and Gyokeres remain their priority targets for the time being.
Saka backup found?

Arsenal are interested in Porto winger Pepe, who has a €75m release clause in his contract, leaving the Portuguese club in a strong position.
Pepe is coming off a 'season to forget' and is seen as a potential low-cost option despite his hefty release clause, with initial contact having been made.
It is claimed that a loan deal is the most likely scenario for the winger this summer as Porto would have to forfeit a share of the funds generated from a sale.
