Juventus are ready to take action against former wonderkid Mohamed Ihattaren after he was pictured in a compromising position with his partner.

Ihattaren, a former Netherlands U19 international star, had hoped to win a place in the thoughts of the club but instead appears to be back to square one in his battle to earn first-team recognition.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been spotted at Schiphol airport on his way to a global destination by various tabloid publications.

Ihattaren was recently married to TikTokker Yasmine Driouech and appeared to be heading to Dubai as a possible holiday destination. The two were photographed in the McDonalds at Schiphol, Amsterdam’s main airport, which can only be found in the section for travellers outside the European Union.

The photo is likely to raise quite a few eyebrows at Juventus. Ihattaren said a few months ago that he wanted to earn his chance in Italy, but the photo in the fast-food chain tells a different story. The midfielder looks far from match fit in the image, which may be a reason for Juventus to say goodbye to Ihattaren.

Mohamed Ihattaren’s unfulfilled potential

Juventus has been building a file for some time to release the youngster, whose Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) rose as high as €36 million during his breakout period with PSV in the Netherlands.

Indeed, Juventus seemed to have signed him for something of a steal in the summer of 2021, when he completed a €5.5m move to the Turin giants. At that point, his estimated valuation was still around the €10m mark.

Since his transfer to Italy, Ihattaren’s career has hit the skids. He has not managed a single match for Juventus, and though he has been sent on loans to Sampdoria and Ajax, he has not played a single league match since the 2020/21 season.

Instead of creating headlines on the field, he has generated them off it, and this latest image is the latest damaging blow to his tattered reputation.
