The Rangers Review claims the two clubs will hold discussions in the coming days, with the Scottish giants prepared to pay up to €8million (£7m).

Driouech has been linked with a move to Ibrox Stadium all summer as manager Derek McInnes looks to strengthen his options out wide.

The 24-year-old winger has scored 10 goals in 58 appearances for PSV, winning back-to-back Eredivisie titles in 2025 and 2026.

Driouech joined the Dutch heavyweights in July 2024 after spending three seasons with Excelsior, netting 14 times in 101 appearances for them.

The Rangers Review understands Driouech is one of a number of wingers being targeted by McInnes’ side.

However, the same outlet says Rangers have cooled their interest in Fares Ghedjemis of Frosinone after being put off the Italian club’s valuation.

Rangers have also been linked with Coventry City’s Jahnoah Markelo and Amario Cozier-Duberry of Brighton and Hove Albion.

Rangers strengthened wide options with Yokota signing on Tuesday

The Scottish Premiership side have already signed one winger this summer after capturing Daisuke Yokota from German side Hannover on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old made his debut in Thursday’s 2-1 loss to Polish outfit Jagiellonia Bialystok in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League playoff tie.

McInnes' men have made nine signings so far this summer

Rangers have made nine signings so far this summer, including Yokota. Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, defender Ross McCrorie and Olwethu Makhanya, midfielders Vanja Dragojevic, Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin and striker Lawrence Shankland have also arrived on permanent deals.

Defender Ben Godfrey has also joined on a season-long loan from Atalanta, though he is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Rangers return to Scottish Premiership action on Sunday when they play host to Hibernian, in what will be McInnes’ first home affair as manager.

The Gers will then look to overturn their one-goal deficit when they entertain Jagiellonia in the second leg of their European tie next Thursday.
