Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is known for being a fan of partying, and had the best reason yet to celebrate as he lifted the Champions League.

The Champions League final is always a hotspot for celebrities and other sporting greats, and Grealish linked up with a fellow English sports superstar after City's 1-0 win over Inter Milan.

Formula 1 driver George Russell posted a photo on his Instagram account, not only hugging Grealish, but also wearing his Champions League winners' medal.

So far this season, Russell has only finished on the podium once, so clutching Grealish's medal is the closest he's come to tasting victory in 2023.

The Mercedes driver also shared other videos and photos from Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium, including captioning the official Champions League account's celebratory graphic with "Pep you're the man!"

Some of Russell's followers on Instagram took the opportunity to poke fun at Man City's rivals, joking "George has touched more ucl winners medals than arsenal and psg combined."

Russell also commented on Grealish's own celebratory pic, writing "Legend mate congrats 👊"

Grealish's collection of Instagram videos were tamer than usual, featuring plenty of beer being consumed, the trademark topless Erling Haaland photo, as well as the 27-year-old belting out a few songs in the dressing room.
